Acknowledging Indigenous Lands

PARO, as part of the University of Guelph, recognizes that the university is on the ancestral lands of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation of the Anishinaabek Peoples, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples. Working across rural Ontario, PARO also recognizes the diverse lands and places that have historically been, and continue to be, important homelands for Indigenous Peoples across the region.
